This year too Valsala closing my eyes directed me to the
Pooja room where all arrangements were made by her apriori and asked me to open
my eyes and see all items including the new addition of Pattabhishekam, thanks
to you all, one by one. So many items like beautifully cut coconnut
into two equal parts, yellow cucumber, orange, apple, mango, gold coin,
kanikonna and such other things as are pleasing to the eyes, in front of
a well lit oil lamp. The sight was very soothing to the eyes and I stood in reverence
for a few minutes. My thoughts flew past 50 years back when on this very day we
became together. From then on she never failed to organise this except on
occasions when we were prevented from celebration as the family was passing
through periods of mourning.
Vishukkani as I see, is a pleasant event to
cleanse our mind and start the year with a clean slate. Myself and
Valsala wish you all the very best in your March forward and pray for
good health and longevity of all of you including the children, who are our
children too.
We take this opportunity to cherish the surprise party
meticulously organised by you together and the nice gift to celebrate our
wedding anniversary.
